PUR SHOW TONIGHT – LATEST TWEET FROM ROGER:
Hi there,
I just spent the day yesterday with PUR, a wonderful German band -rehearsing for a spectacular event tonight at Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, expecting 45,000 people. Rehearsals went great, enjoyed working with this band – really good energy.
They had been really looking forward to working with me and it felt great! We had a dress rehearsal last night and it’s going to be a spectacular show tonight. I am playing a 20 minute set with them which will include many of my classic hits – Logical, Give a Little Bit, Breakfast in America, Dreamer, School, It’s Raining Again – they’ve rehearsed them really well. And I’ll be also singing one of their songs with them – partially in German !!!!.
I appreciate working with musicians that have such good energy. They really do represent their name – PUR. And it’s also been wonderful for me as the older artist to receive the respect that they have given me in planning this show together. I hope to see many of my German fans there tonight and meet all the PUR fans. Check out the links – they show the venue and some pictures from rehearsals. Pasé el día de ayer con PUR, una maravillosa banda alemana – -Ensayando para un evento espectacular esta noche en el Veltins Arena en Gelsenkirchen, se esperan 45.000 personas. Los ensayos fueron magníficos, es un placer trabajar con esta banda – realmente energía positiva.
Tenían muchas ganas de trabajar conmigo y me sentí genial! Tuvimos un ensayo general la noche anterior y esta noche va a ser un show espectacular. Voy a actuar durante unos 20 minutos con ellos e incluiremos muchos de mis clásicos hits – Logical, Give a Little Bit, Breakfast in America, Dreamer, School, It’s Raining Again – Ellos los han preparado francamente bien. Y yo, interpretaré también una de sus canciones con ellos – parcialmente en Alemán !!!!.
Valoro trabajar con músicos que tienen tan buena energía. Realmente hacen honor a su nombre –PUR. Y también ha sido maravilloso para mí como el artista más veterano, recibir el respeto que me han dado al planificar este espectáculo conjunto.
