Carmen ( & Jan) from Los Angeles
Well we all made it to Waukesha (Wisconsin), we first flew to Chicago on Friday night. We went to all the tourist traps.
Then Sunday came we drove to Milwaukee, checked in to the hotel, off to the concert. When we arrived we saw 3 couple the we know thorough Roger. That is when we found Roger was sick.
Roger was upbeat but you could tell he was not feeling very good during the show. He got the audience involved by asking them to help him sing and the beer flowing through them helped to sing loud for Roger.
The audience seemed to enjoy the old songs and those of us that heard the two new songs were happy.
I wish I could of heard the song when his voice was better and he was feeling better. His heart didn’t come through in the songs like it does when he is feeling good. He did what other performers don’t do and that is do the concert. Most others would of cancelled the concert and left many people dissapointed. Roger pulled through for the fans. What a trooper!
It was my greatest pleasure to get my photo taken with Roger…I always taken Jan’s photo and I have never had my photo taken with Roger. Jan’s parents came with us and they love the concert and meeting Roger.
Roger and Linda were so sweet and it was a dream come true for me. I wish I could do something for them to say thanks.
I would love to sit down and sing with him one day, I would love to harmonize with him. Keep the Pigeons Warm is still my favorite song.
It is funny how each person can hear a song or see a person in a different light. Jan tells me his views and I have my own.
Both Heather and I think Roger is just a man not «God» but someone with a «Gift from God» to share.
